I took these yesterday of a male and female Purple Finch. They were kind enough to take turns sitting on the same perch. CC welcome & incouraged!

Thanks for your input Guy. I assumed it was a purple finch because I have never seen a house finch here. Lots of Purple Finches however. Maybe a stray house finch has appeared, but the western version of the purple finch does differ from the eastern. Anyone else have a opinion?
