:) This shot is in ROF & AI-Servo on a fixed 1DMKIII ~ I'm personally pleased with this as my 1DMKIII never did this before.

Yeah...he whines all the time that Nikon AF is better :D...not to my experience though.

Great Image but IMHO ROF is only part of the settings that s/b taken into account.

I would have the tracking sensitivity set to the slowest setting and AF expansion set to surrounding. AF tracking priority and continuous tracking. Those are just some of the ones to came to mind.

Well, I whined and whined and whined and apparently someone listened, I was not the only whiner so I can't take all the credit.

See I had a bad experience with Nikon that I'm not over and last year's comments by Canon had me furious that they were now adopting the Nikon policies over faulty gear ...

Seems they fixed this camera, but there are always things to whine over ~ no whining = no fix. :)

GerBee: Great news! Been seeing very positive comments on the MK3 lately but, as we all know, there will always remain some naysayers. Great to hear the camera's working out for ya now.
