Were you out there Friday, Saturday or Sunday (or all of the above?)

I was there for Friday practice and Saturday. I was going to go on Sunday as well but my azz was draggin'

I was just there on Sat, was gonna go on Sun also but the wind/dust made me say naaaa.

We were supposed to have a photo club outing there on Sunday but I'm also glad I didn't end up in the dust storm.

You know it's significant when it makes the TBirds think twice about flying.

These were shot at:

ISO 100
1000sec @ F5.6
Lens was a 400mm F5.6 prime

The prop blur was at F18 with a 125 shutter

I was there on Sunday and we didn't know if they were going to fly right up until the time they took off. See all the haze in this shot? That's the dust and dirt kicked up by the wind. (This shot really doesn't show it to full advantage.)

Somebody told me that they took off and actually circled for a while. Enough so that people started heading for the exits convinced they weren't going to fly the demo that day.

Yeah that doesn't look like it would have been a fun day

#2 is my favorite. Excellent series.
