Back from Yosemite...and a look at a common sight. C&C always encouraged. 1300 shots to review....that place makes my shutter finger awfully twitchy.

Thanks all for stopping in for a look and your kind words. The Steller's and the Acorn Woodpeckers are the champions of Yosemite valley. The woodpeckers were busy and skittish. Steller's obnoxious as ajosteve noted.

Beautiful bird, nice job. They are a gutsy bird, the last time I was out west camping one stole hash browns right out of my fry pan while I had the pan in my hand. I was completely shocked.
