First night photography excursion so wasn't exactly sure of best site for a chance and really was chimping. Experimented from 2-5 min exposures. Enjoyed the fun and will return some day for another crack at it. Advice, tips, and C&C always welcome. I did some reading on this and actually shorter exposures are better due to the contant movement of the rainbow. This will cause all the colors of the rainbow to blend back together again and they wont show in your photo. This shot was a 20 second exposure at ISO 1600. John Yup, I did a little bit of NR and some light PP work to help bring out the stars but that was pretty much it.
