Not sure if many here are familiar with Steep and Cheep but it is a site that runs deals on mostly outdoor sporting equipment. The way it works is that they post one discounted item at a time for a set amount of time (usually 20-30 min) and when time is out or they all sell they move on to a new item.

The reason I'm posting is that I've seen a few Crumpler products come up recently. One day last week I got online and there were about 2 minutes to go on 6MDH's for $38 if I remember right, and this morning I snagged a 7MDH for $46. Both were the old style MDH's. The Considerable Embarrassment messenger bag was up earlier this afternoon for $28. It's all luck being online at the right time, but it can be worth keeping an eye on.

There are add-ons for IE and FF that will display the current deal down in your browsers status bar so you don't need to have the site up all the time, find them here:

*edit- A lot of times they will repeat an item during the day if they didn't all sell, there is probably a decent chance of those 7MDH's coming back up again before the day is over.

And now the laptop bags are back up, in case anyone needs one.

Shhhh. I'm waiting to score a 7MDH when they become available. We don't want too many people jumping on the deal when it surfaces again...

(just kidding -- I'll be sure to post on here if/when it pops up again)
:p

There was already a thread on this about three down on this very page. ;)

You can go to this site to see what you may have missed during the day. You don't get the same discount as when the product is featured but it's still usually 40% off retail.

I hate it when I make myself look like an idiot, not that it happens often.
