#2's a b800 in large octa, in pretty close to her face. There's another light, low power providing a small amount of fill. Finally, a couple of b800s on white seamless, very low power.

I'm glad you posted more than the first 3. She does not look comfortable at all in the first 3, but she is relaxed in the later postings.

I like #4 and #5 best! It really shows that even though she's a "senior" and graduating, she still likes to have fun. These pictures definitely hint a reminiscence of childhood with the colors and her expression.

You did a fantastic job!

While the first 3 shots are probably my favorites from the entire set, I tend to agree with you. She was a little stiff from time to time but was also dealing with slightly cooler weather (and in the case of #2, a fan blowing on her ).

Anyway, they aren't posted in order. In fact, #4 was actually at the beginning of the shoot.

I'm still pretty new at this gig and the photographer-client interaction part is still the most difficult for me, hands down. I'm not much of a "people person", so it's very much a challenge!

unrelated to your current shots...but i just looked at your photo blog, and i must say it's amazing. you're really, really good (and witty!) the clarity and colors you get in your pictures are great. and you certainly have the artistic flair. i can only hope that when i have kids i document their lives as interestingly as you do.

I really appreciate that DrFil! I need to update that blog... it's been almost a year!

Sadly I've been documenting my kids a lot less lately. I only shoot part time, but even doing it part time takes a lot out of me and it's really difficult to find the desire to pick up the camera "for fun". That and it was just winter and I was kind of in a rut. Seems to be passing now.

Again, much appreciated.
