Can anyone provide tips how to print certain image size to utilize the entire photo paper without the 1" unused upper and lower part of the paper?

Problem 1: Images sizes of (8 x 10, 11 x 14 and 17 x 22) will not utilize the entire paper to fit the image when I elect not to 'Fit To Frame'.

Problem 2: If I elect 'Fit To Frame' when printing, then the upper and lower parts of the paper is not utilized which leaves a white area top & bottom.

Problem 3: If I elect to utilize entire paper to print image, then portions of the image is cut off from right and left.

How can I print images to these sizes above to utilize the entire paper without losing portions of the picture. Is this possible to do?

Hi Photoman, this issue comes up fairly frequently, so I wrote a few tips about it here: Cropping and Printing - the 8x10 problem (external link)

I hope this helps.

I'll give this a try and see what happens. It's been a nightmare for me trying to align these sizes.

Not really. If you have a size other than the standards you have to align it on a sheet and know that you'll be wasting some paper. Or, you could stack as many images as you can on a given size, say 16x20 or 24x36, and then trim each to size.
