As for why I decided to get rid of the 1D2:
One of the many examples:

This shot is sharp at the ring. (external link) while the AF point used was bang on the forehead (external link). (3 AF points away)...

I like all of them :) This is where RAW really comes in handy, I sometimes shoot concerts (although not as big as Amon Amarth, hope it one day:cool:) and it can really save the image.
