I have some Rustoleum spray on clear enamel that I was thinking of using to coat some images I have mounted on wood. Anyone know if it's acidic and will yellow the images?

i will for sure, try a water bourne finish like Varathane Diamond coat. If you're going to glue it on anything don't use spray glue as it will eat the paper.

I used an art store max-strength spray adhesive, assuming it's meant for art works. I will try a clear coat.

Thats what I went with, Krylon Crystal Clear UV protection, made for photographs! The enamel I had in mine was laying around my house and was not made for photo use I suppose. I tested it on an old photo and while I didn't notice any degradation I'm sure xylene and acetone can't be good for printed images.
