Evening Salma

That looks interesting Steve. I usually give Zoo's etc a bit of a wide berth, as i prefer to be out and about, and just stumble across wild animals.. That said, i think this would be a good way of polishing the photographic techniques, for making the shots in the wild.

I wonder if they do discounts for group bookings? :D

Hey Beano, how's it going? :)

I own a bunch of Canon stuff and I love taking pictures. Follow me on twitter (external link) :o

if your looking for something different and are into wildlife check out the british wildlife centre, a great day out, £59 for a photography day and you go into the enclosures for some real close up pics.........www.britishwildlifecentre.co.uk (external link) recommended........steve

I love that place, and the photography is an absolute bargain!

I reckon a trip to Sissnghurst is a good idea for a meet?

Was there last week,...

I'd be up for that, it's not far from me.

jesus, that is such a great picture. Can I ask... how did you use such a long shutter speed with such a perfect exposure? I am guessing that if the cars were moving fast you only needed a couple seconds shutter speed, but for those kinds of trails did you use Av or Tv? or M?

I am still a n00b ;(

:) Thank-You. The cars were moving at a decent rate but there were not a lot of them so the exposure needed to be 30 Seconds to get decent trails. Everything else was adjusted knowing the exposure time in M. F22 and ISO 100. White balance was adjusted in post.

Yeah, loving the UE stuff. Sadly almost all of my Shreddies photos are utter crap, so im not posting them up yet.

If im honest, i may give St. Georges a miss mate. If its that difficult we may need to move quickly and i don't think my physical state really allows for that at the moment. Plus it would mean i have to get up V early on my day off

My op is not until the 2nd June now so hopefully there will be plenty of other opportunities before then. I REALLY REALLY want to get into that morgue with the intact tables that you went to before.

Rob,

PM me your number as if I am back early enough, which I probably will be. We can hit the morgue/hospital I can ring you to let you know to pick you up or there is a train station just across the road.

meh, knackered.
London marathon photos yesterday...

over 2000 shots in basically 5 hours. My arms are going to fall off, and I've nearly lost my voice!

2 hours before the race, and 3 hours after.

5AM start on a Sunday is just wrong!

Good morning, how is everyone else? (I'll catch up with about 20 pages of threads later!)

Welcome back Rich :)

I'm dead myself from the meet which ran from 1pm to 830pm last night.

Had good fun with Neal's Cactus wireless system - so cheap, but all you need!
