Have you checked with Kerso (Ian) what his price would be??? Many here at POTN have bought from him and without checking the actual figures I know I saved a significant amount when I bought my 24-105 IS

:)

Me too, when I got my 70-200 2.8 L IS I saved a packet!

He does trade via eBay but AFAIK he offers/gives us POTNers a little extra by a slighter lower price than on his eBay store :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Fingers crossed for you :D

Is this the second interview for the one I saw mentioned previously (Private school IT tech)? Its all to easy to lose the timeframe on this all too fast moving thread

Do post what he says about the price, even though I cannot justify the expense a 100-400 is a lens I crave  so knowing the price will keep me focused ~ oops! a joke, not

Good to hear things are looking better Neal. Best of luck!

I'd highly recommend Ian (Kerso) too. Every lens I've bought this year (see link below) has been great. You've got the international warranty and UK invoice from him too so no worries :-)

Yup, it's a bit cheaper to deal direct, as it saves on paypal charges etc. I got both my 10-22 and 400 from Ian. It was a pretty quick turn-around too. ;)

Because of the eBay charges, he is looking to move away from eBay and "setup shop" himself I believe.

Don't know why he hasn't already, he's certainly got a big enough customer base!?!

Yeah, but you're only a repeat customer for so long (until you've got your ideal lens set), and probably not that regularly.
