10gb worth was JUST about enough.

Did you need flash in there, or was there enough light?

I cranked up to ISO3200 @ f/2 and just used flash as a bit of fill. You can get away without flash.

I worked with a flash on the setup below.

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'

Anything direct just too too point and shooty so I just flashed to reduce green tints on the players as walls were a nasty pale green which made processing hard.

Nice!

My poor little camera only goes upto iso1600, and then it's noisy as hell, so might yield some, shall we say interesting results.

You should be able to get 1/200 at ISO1600 then run some noise reduction if needs be. I didnt bother with any NR even though on some I should.

Most of the time, I was at about 1/400 @ ISO3200. 1/200 or so was not too bad.

Either that or, i'll just do plenty of panning... :D

I've just been looking at the rest of yours on FlickR, some really nice shots there. Did you leave business cards or anything, so the girls can buy photo's from you? Or would that be a little too much for the official photog hehe!

Ive posted on their forum with a link to my whole Flickr set and be sending them a CD.

They will go on Facebook so they can use them for their own use. No money in it. On the forum, just have my site linked. THey have my email addy and when the next event is looming, they mail all the toggy's to confirm a place. Seems like you have to be quick for a place.

Next event I shall ask them if they want more from POTN but see as it comes. If not just shoot as a spectator from what I can see. Toggers just got a whole area for them to shoot from.

Hey Vic, yup just us, it's been a bit quiet the last few days. All the anti-spam nonsense has ruined the thread!

Would have Rob, or the other place we spoke about but seeing as my car is still not fixed thought I had better come into the office, I also must get round to the important matter of handing my notice in this week ;)
