I do like the job, but we have taken a big hit on the contracting side of things, regular servicing is still flat out though, nevertheless we have had to let 4 guys go which I can assure you aint an easy thing to do. Have had a job offer on my desk at home since early February, from the company that I used to work for 6 years ago, have done bits and pieces for them for cash in between but think now is the time for a move.
They are burner makers for power stations, as this government suddenly forgot that our nuclear power stations have reached their end of life, and it takes 10-15 years to build another station, the fossil fueled stations have to generate till 2023, so plenty of work lined up.
Going to be hard to hand me notice in, especially being a director!!
