I was eyeing up a Dakine backpack the other day and got asked "why do you need another bag" I had to bit my lip

Yep, mine's the same with clothes, just tons and tons of clothes. But, of course, she never has anything to wear, or her excuse for buying is that she doesn't have the right dress yet.

I think that's where I'm quite lucky as my wife positively encourages me to buy stuff, probably to make her feel better about spending so much :D

I spoke too soon, I'm being dragged supermarket shopping :(
It's a pain being the only one in the house to drive.

Right back in about 10 years, at least that's what it'll feel like :D

Morning/afternoon all!

My new toy just arrived :-) I unpacked it, give it a quick sniff for that new toy smell and then promptly hooked up the battery to charge. Not feeling that excited about it yet.

Never thought I'd own an xD model one day.

Couldn't get the grip at the same time, that is on back order!

Firmware upgrade first. Rob, any advice on what to configure, it being the 5D or just do my usual stuff?

Blinkin' weather, going to have to be a couple of garden plant shots first to make sure the mirror doesn't plop out :-)

Anke, no deal, just bought it at its usual price. No pics yet, battery charger is double flashing at the moment.... HURRY UP!!!!!!!

morning all,
Teshi, good work on the shots.
I get the occasional email from other rollerderby teams of other events/locations.
I'll ensure to post them.
I'd like to do another one, I'll check out their calendar.

I've just got soo many events going on at the moment, I need to drop the day job!

I'm trying to get a passs for the England v Sri Lanka test match at Lord's net week! (Michael, expect a chat if I get in!)

I'm afraid my previous comment is completely validated by this post :lol::lol:

Im not going to Folkestone now. Kind of annoyed with myself for not going, but its too late now really and those clouds look very menacing. Wish i had a 1-series camera so i could have weather sealing.

Ta!

There's a new firmware out for it 1.0.7 I think and I'll probably have to upgrade it. Not sure what version it is on, haven't switched it on yet.

The battery charger is now triple flashing on me. Oooohhhh so close...!
