Afternoon Salma.

Just got off the phone with the hospital. Following on from my blood tests the other week, i now have a deep bone scan with the Oncology department.

Isn't Oncology where they treat Cancer patients?

Morning/afternoon all!

My new toy just arrived :-) I unpacked it, give it a quick sniff for that new toy smell and then promptly hooked up the battery to charge. Not feeling that excited about it yet.

Never thought I'd own an xD model one day.

Couldn't get the grip at the same time, that is on back order!

Firmware upgrade first. Rob, any advice on what to configure, it being the 5D or just do my usual stuff?

Blinkin' weather, going to have to be a couple of garden plant shots first to make sure the mirror doesn't plop out :-)

Anke, no deal, just bought it at its usual price. No pics yet, battery charger is double flashing at the moment.... HURRY UP!!!!!!!

Lovely!!! Can't wait to see in used in anger :D

Chris we must let our wives meet up to be lectured by yours on how we should be encouraged to spend more on cameras, lenses etc....

Great idea!! :D As long as they don't bring her round to their way of thinking. :D

I'm supposed to be shooting someone's portrait this afternoon. It might turn out to be quite a damp affair :(

I'm trying to get a pass for the England v Sri Lanka test match at Lord's net week! (Michael, expect a chat if I get in!)

Expect an assistant if you get in!! ;)

Well I only shoot a bit of village stuff so may not be the best person to talk to, although the theory is the same I guess. There are a few decent cricket shooters on here too that you could bother with questions. gsgary, gmen & butcha27 to name but 3.

Fingers crossed you manage to get in though. :D

It is! Man I hope it is just a precaution and turns out to be nothing. I am crossing everything for you.
