Yup, I used the 135L for both bouts. I have a feeling at Earls Court, they may have a bigger space between the track and the toggers or spectators area. If I get a spot, Ill look into this.

It would have been much better if they stuck us on the other corner. To the right of where you sat. Or near the door but I suppose that was a limitation of the hall.

I think the lighting in Earls Court may be worse. I'm not 100% sure though, as I've only been there twice and both times for beer festivals. My memory may be a bit cloudy. ;)

But yea, the corner to the right of me or the opposite corner (behind the penalty seats) are the best spots to be in I think.

Well 1.8 should be good enough. a 50mm might be worth it. If we have enough space, ill take the 200 1.8L again. :)

Nice shot mate. Do you have to submit photos to them for acceptance or something?

Hi all. Anyone else suffering with hayfever today? My bloody nose won't stop running!

I got my 30D boxed up and sent off to Fixation for repair. Fingers crossed that it doesn't take long to fix!

Weirdly, I've not had any this year. I normally take those one-a-day jobbies to sort it out.

And Fixation are good. The repaired my old 24-105 without any problems at all.

Not been so bad today, but recently i have had a few bad days. Sneezing is very painful for me at the moment so i am dosed up on Loratadine.

This took me about 2 hours to set up- doing things one handed is such a pain in the arse! I went for a bit of a psychedelic colour scheme.

I am gutted because they arent a patch on Rich's, but i will get some assistance this evening/tomorrow - then i will be back with a vengeance!

I love the fact this one has bubbles in it!
