This took me about 2 hours to set up- doing things one handed is such a pain in the arse! I went for a bit of a psychedelic colour scheme.

I am gutted because they arent a patch on Rich's, but i will get some assistance this evening/tomorrow - then i will be back with a vengeance!

Great set Rob, good to see you're keeping busy during your recovery ;)

OOOOoooooo that is V wide! ;) Definitely interested in having a play with that!

Do you ever feel hampered by the slow aperture though? I Have been looking at the 16-35 for band photography. I have been asked to be the photographer for a band i shot at Christmas - once i am healed of course :D

That shouldn't be that big an issue for you Rob the 5D2 is so good at high ISO you can easily make up a couple of stops up that way without screwing the quality.
The noise reduction seems to work very well also, vastly better than the 5D Classic.

Bah! Blasphemy! I love it for car work.

QUOTED IMAGE

It just depends how well you use it. Apart from on cars, I rarely use it but handy for just in cases when I run out of room.

The 85mm is just wow. You should love it. :)

Yes, same picture. :)

Where do you get all these high performance monsters Mitesh??

Cheers. I think I have nailed the processing now I have a calibrated screen (Thanks Lawrence).

Just worried about next month if I get a toggers spot. I know all the WB issues where we shot. Going to have to learn it all at Earls Court. Shouldnt be that hard.

Still wish I could rent a 1D III. :( Maybe in a few months Ill have one. :)

Spot on. I just sign up to forum after forum. Turn up to car meets, show off my rig on my own car, people see the pics and line up for shots. Few idiots try to scoff at the idea and think they can get the same result panning. Meh, works for me.

Im heading to Birmingham end of this month to shoot a restored mkI Golf. Soooooooo cannot wait for that.

Sweet. Well lets hear if I get a place for next month first of all and hopefully an insight as to how much space we have to shoot. 1D/200 1.8L might be too long but shall see what happens.

If I remember! Just benadryll or zirtek but not too regularly.

I normally get it quite bad and use Zirtek, but for my nose I have to use a nasal spray as well, Beconnaise is not too bad. The best one I have found is Rhinolast but it is prescription only.

The tablets work best if you take them regularly, get them on prescription, get a few months at a time and it is alot cheaper.

Good effort with the drops Rob.
I found I needs really narrow apertures(f/20+) to get all the splash in focus.

Great work on the collision, I couldn't manage to capture one of them!

I've finally sorting the wedding photo's and put them all on a website for the bride and groom:
