So did you reply to the email? I will quite happily go in your place and say my name is Adrian! It would be a shame to waste it! I will trade you a pint for it! :D

Talk about being gutted. Only just got on main computer which is the only one linked up to e-mail to find this.

Good afternoon,

I'm emailing you as you've expressed an interest in participating with the above feature in the past, and an opportunity has arisen within the radius you stated you'd be willing to travel.

It's a day with pro photographer Nick Ridley, here are the details:

Pro canine photographer Nick Ridley is offering one lucky DP reader a place on his popular workshop, scheduled to take place on June 16th, at the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Training Centre near Saunderton, Buckinghamshire.

As well as a short theory lesson on setting up cameras for action images, you'll learn (and put into practice) techniques for:

Photographing difficult dogs.
Photographing puppies.
Running dogs.
Frisbee dogs.
Agility (jumps and weaves)
Jumping dogs
...among others!

More about Nick Ridley at: http://www.nickridley.com/ (external link)

If you fancy a day's free tuition on the finer points of canine photography, then get back to me asap - I have a few people on my list for this opportunity, so it'll go to the first person who gets back to me!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,

Josie Reavely

I had filled something out saying I wold like a day out with a pro and never in a million years thought I would get anything back. Problem is I cannot get the day off work:(:(. I am riot training and they will not rearrange it.

If you were ever worried about how dust or scratches on your front element affected your images, worry no longer!

There is no way I could pull a sicky as it would feature in the magazine

I'd never suggest such a thing... But, is anyone you work with likely to read the magazine?

I hadn't but I have now and even more annoyed. His photos look spot on I would really have enjoyed it. For a day with him in a group of twelve you would be paying £150 and it would have been either a one on one of max a group of four:mad::mad:

Those spudz cloths look like a good idea, I normally keep a cloth in my pocket for my glasses but the cloth always get covered in crap from my pocket.

Nice shots, really like the first two.

Victor Madrid looks great, would you recommend it as looking for somewhere to take the wife for 3-4 four days in August

Yes mate its a fantastic city, we stayed in the old quarter and you really can walk to all the touristy bits, did not use a metro or taxi (except airport) whilst there.

Its a bloody expensive place though so take some wedge with you as I done £550 on 3 nights and this was just spending/eating out money, as the hotel/flights were already paid for. I guess in comparison no more expensive than any other big european city.
