Does breaking the rules work sometimes? I like to think it's worth a try. Agree?

Evening all! Just got back in myself. Looks like I have missed a few pages. Had some good news photography related. :)

The company who recommended me for the recent bar promotion shots have asked me to be their contracted photographer for any events/client work which needs doing. So if any photographic services are needed, I will be the one handling it.

The bar also want me as their resident photographer which I am setting up a 6 month contract to start with is being all sorted out as we speak.

Then my company reg, which will hopefully be Clarity-Rebirth can also be handled for me and also all relevant trademarks can also be handled by the owner of the bar since he is a trademark specialist.

Its still all in talks at the moment till we can formally discuss it all after I have put down my company proposal together etc but already they have landed me some work in Derby (dates are being discussed) where I will be shooting a music producer at his studio and a live event.

I really cannot wait. Hopefully soon, I shall follow in the footsteps of Dan and go fulltime. :)

Fantastic news.

I'm continually awed by just what talent we have in our little corner of our tiny island.

It's an interesting thread. This is the kind of thing I'd do if any of my equipment failed with no chance of repair.

See you on the other side... I'm gonna read a few pages from Hot Shoe Diaries.

:D Good example as the sky would've been really dull.
I shall try and avoid the rule of thirds for a while from now on, just to experiment.

Second time in a couple of days. Overloading the current hardware? Upgrades needed?

Those types of perspective with foreground emphasis IMO are very nice but I do hope you did not get wet too quickly as I see the water must have been rushing up the beach  all I will say is watch the horizon??? ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
