I know this sounds daft, but are there any 3rd party battery manufacturers/sellers that are more reputable than the rest?

Need to get some more juice for my 5DII, but im not sure if i would prefer to buy one Canon battery for £65, or get two 3rd party batteries for about £30.

Ask Kerso, I got my Canon BP511A for £42 delivered compared to over £75 online/shop elsewhere :)

Already got a quote from kerso, but he is no cheaper than highstreet on these, plus there's the £10 postage etc. :(

I'm in the same quandry...

I have bought a cheap 1DII battery out of necessity, however the bloody metal clip is back to front so it doesn't fit in properly :(

I really need a new 5dII and MKIII battery if anyone sees any good deals

With my 1D Classic, I got three batteries. Two original Canons and a third party high capacity battery. The Canon ones last about 40 shots but the high capacity is great and lets me go on about two days shooting easy.

I just removed the end cap from one of the older batteries and swapped them. Works a treat. I can bring one along or pop round sometime and we can swap em around.
