You had great weather for the camping!

That is a lovely piece of art you have there. You going to keep the Voigtlander loaded with B&W film instead or are you going to stick to the Leica?

I'm in the same quandry...

I have bought a cheap 1DII battery out of necessity, however the bloody metal clip is back to front so it doesn't fit in properly :(

I really need a new 5dII and MKIII battery if anyone sees any good deals

One-stopdigital are the cheapest i have found at £66.99

That includes delivery and they will refund you any import taxes in the event you are charged them. I have bought from them quite a few times and reccomend them as a company.

However, i am not sure if i want a genuine canon battery. Looking at the options on ebay, i am confused as to which to go for as far as "quality" goes. I dont want a battery leaking inside my camera, but neither do i want a battery that will only last 200 shots.

Standard canon battery is 1800 Mah, but you can get TWO 2100 MaH batteries + charger for £25 and free postage.

Looks like the camera will not accurately show your remaining battery life though which is irritating. Is this normal for 3rd party batteries?

Damn Canon and their ridiculously expensive batteries!

Hi, I wasn't sure where to jump in. I didn't know a group like this existed but it would be nice to mix with some people who might push my creativity a bit further.

Joe

I've got a second 5D MkII battery from Onestop Digital, seems alright (as you'd expect!) and arrived in about a week.

Also downloaded the DSL Remote App for my iPhone..........not really had much of a play yet but seems a bit of a laugh - maybe more show off factor than actual practical use!

I'm intrigued by thread 5...but can't be bothered to go back and read it!

I've had a few drinks now (chill out Sunday evening) and kinda feel l that I should start getting ready for bed and the inevitable Monday morning blues to come!
