Cool! :D

Thanks, Mike. I'm going to upload a larger version in the morning and blog it :)

Quite a fun way to completely waste a day :D

It'll be much better when the 1D Mark IV has HD Video capability :)

What distro is that designed for use on? Im still tempted to go back to Xandros for ease of use. Maybe Ubuntu if their new release has better wireless driver support.

The script was designed for automating gphoto2 on Ubuntu. It's not exactly timed but it's modifiable that I should be able to make it trigger on a timer as much as any other event.

That one was 480px I think, I'm just exporting a 960px version.

Check my site Matt, I got a free CSS template (link bottom of my page on the left) and hacked it on Dreamweaver. I don't know much about web design but is do-able and you can claim the credit for design ;)

Right holiday booked for tomorrow for RIAT, alarm set for 5am in the morning!

What time you planning on arriving?

OK, youtube compressed the heck out of it, but here it is. Let me know what you think. Its not as impressive small as the nice big version on my screen but not a lot I can do about that.

999 shot video. (external link)

In the uncompressed version you can watch the clock go round. I think some more testing is required before uploading to my blog.

Great stuff Chris, next one needs to go into sunset!:D

Yes, Mike needs that!!

Click on these and tell me that if I posted them you'd think they were good? Perhaps I'm going for technical perfection rather than a "nice picture"?

No not for me i cannot find anything of particular interest in any of them.

Middle one I like. I like the first but the composition is off. Third is boring to me.

However, if you're going to look at the images in that way then you've not got the point. His photos aren't like the photos or images you normally see. There's more to them than the one image you see. You also have to remember that at the time no other photographer was working in the same way as him. I follow his ideas. I like a lot of photos I see, but they're photoshopped to hell, at odd angles to make them "different", far too clean and near perfect. Essentially everyone is trying to be the same and create the same feel. In essence copying each other. I go the other way. Take few photos and don't use photoshop other than to resize and sharpen. That's my natural style and way of photography.

I don't have time to bleat on about my thoughts on his work but I'll give it a go later. I also have to confess that's the first time I've heard of him but something inside my head has clicked.

they don't make anything click in my head....but then if everyone had the same views the world would be a very boring place.

=Matt 'Photog' Peters;8283208]Well I would like to be able to sell images too, but was thinking if I used a host that has web design built in I can just add a shopping cart feature?

i have no clue with this stuff so any help would be very much appreciated!!

You could try this site for a ready made template that has a built in shopping cart option.

Or go Dream weaver which is very powerful but a bugger to get to grips with

I have spent most of the day farting with dreamweaver & I'm still no closer to getting anything remotely like a website page!

I think Sylvester has my solution at a very good price too!!

I made a reasonably basic website with Dreamweaver before and didn't think it was too bad. That was a couple of years ago.

I keep thinking about starting something up again but never seem to get round to it.
