Yes!

Went last year - really good day out - the big cat shots on my flickr were taken from there.

I'm at work now and there's a flyer about open days for ADM employees/family/friends.
They want a donation of £15 per person so I can't imagine that its actually going to be one of the photo safaris they offer on the website, but I couldn't see anything else in terms of prices on there. The flyer doesn't really give too many specific details.:rolleyes:
Guess I'll have to email the person organising it to find out.
Would anyone be interested in going on May 31st?
Places are limited though.

Andy, did you do one of the photo safaris or can you just turn up and visit the place in general?

No sense and unfortunately not enough money.

I did one of their enigma photo safari days. I'm considering doing one again this year but on a better day as it was overcast and rainy when I went. Still got a good few keepers though which is why I think the cats will look amazing with better light.

I'm not sure the 15 quid day will be a safari, they do a number of other events where you feed the cats or walk around with the warden but I don't think they will let you spend long shooting the cats... worth asking though, if it is a safari day its the deal of the century.

I didn't think that price would be for the safari, but even if you can get reasonably close you might get some decent shots.
I'll try to find out more details and will post an update here incase anyone is interested.

I think it will still be worth going, stroking one of the tigers was a pretty mad experience. You get really close to them and there is just a fence between you and getting a mauling. One guy had his telephoto lens punctured by a claw because he was too busy looking though the viewfinder and didn't see one of the other cats charging at the fence.

Bean bag? So what's a 1.4 extender?

Extending the magnification of certain lenses. It makes my 400mm a 560mm, but as it's the cheap 400mm i lose Auto focus..

almost as good as playing Guitar Hero on XBOX 360. I picked up a couple of controllers from argos for £20, I had no Idea I would enjoy it so much.

haha! I've only played it once, but it was good. :D

but with the talent they have, always able to score often and quickly so could easily make up the 2 goals in the second half. Question is, can they keep them out at the other end?

Funny, I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Can't wait for my curry now. Last night shift at work for a couple of weeks so we're all getting takeaway. ;):D
