This looks great, it was posted on DWF by Randy Kepple, these are his words, i've just removed the quote tag to make it easier to read.

It seems that rarely does a day go by that someone isn't asking how to put their logo or watermark on an image. How do I create an action that works with horizontal and vertical images? How do I make the logo the same size on horizontal and vertical images?
Well, the day you've all been waiting for has arrived. There is a new Photoshop extension called the Watermark Creator. I've been working with Adobe on this one for months and it will quickly become an integral part of your production workflow.
This extension adds functionality to Photoshop CS4. It will ONLY work with CS4. If you don't have CS4, you can upgrade (of course) or download a trial version that's good for 30 days and decide for yourself.
This extension will take your logo file (PSD, JPG, TIFF, PNG. AI) and place it on your high resolution file. It even supports layer blending modes, so you can take your logo on a white background, change the layer blending mode to multiply to drop out the white. You can choose where to place the logo on the image and adjust the size and opacity of your logo.
Once you have it all set up, you can choose to save the file as a high resolution version (4x6 proof prints, for example) or web resolution size for forum posts (Favorites on DWF) or your blog. It will even create a live preview that you can review and change settings until you are happy to run with it.
If you save for web, anything smaller than 1,000 pixels is automatically sharpened so you can do it all in one step. No need to watermark your files and then reopen them to sharpen. (there was talk about making the sharpening an option you can turn on / off). I thought it was a good idea, but I guess I should have known my fellow photographers would not want their files "touched".
Last, you can batch out a folder of images or just run it on any open images in Photoshop. It will not change or close any open windows when it's run. This has been a long time coming and I think it's a much needed tool for professional photographers. I hope you enjoy it.
This extension is FREE for anyone to use and distribute. It only requires that you have Photoshop CS4 to use it.

I highly recommend that you watch this video if you have any questions about installation or if you want to see what it does and how it works.
And, if you are curious about the next great extension coming your way, how about being able to email a photo straight out of Photoshop?
Watch a video about the upcoming Email extension.
Enjoy!
