thats great!! you checked by your own link and logged into paypal to check? your not just going by an email from paypal saying money deposited?

No - I wouldn't fall for that one (I hope) - I got the funds in payapal, and transferred them out.

Now - who else wants a 55-200 at £200? I could do this for a living :P get me some good L glass

I am not surprised,
i sold a 70-300 is for 575$ on EBAY when you could get them new for 540$ ANYWHERE!

I wouldn't count on that! Once you send funds that are moved out a paypal account, you're stuck. Paypal cannot remove funds from a bank account that is connected to the paypal account w/o the account owner's authorization. With the possible exception of ebay purchases made through paypal, paypal really offers no protection to buyers.

I think he probably thought he was bidding on a 55-250, and afterwards realized what he done, but still went ahead and paid instead of complaining like a lot of bidders would have. I see lenses on Ebay going for more then they do new everytime I look at them on there, and it isn't just a few, but quite a lot of them.
