This is my first stop on Springsteen's Working On A Dream Tour. I used to live in Denver so I decided to make the trek west and enjoy the show before it came back east. It was a good choice as the show and crowd rocked.

I'm still having a bit of difficulty with the LCD screens but I think I am on the right track. Here are a few of my favorites of the night.

As always, comments and critique are welcome.

30D and 40D, 200mm f/2 IS L with and without 1.4 converter on the 40D, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS on the 30D. Never took the 70-200 out of the bag.

Thanks, Tim. I was wondering if you got credentialed yet. Any feedback for the PR contact?

I took some shots with the 200 that came out razor sharp cropped by 80%. A 300 should be fine with the 5DMkII and a little cropping. The 400 is a beast.

got an initial reply saying that my request was received (which was really nice, a lot of times they go into the void and you never hear anything), and that i'd hear back a couple of weeks prior to the show. well, it's less than a week now so i sent in another email asking if they'd finalized the list, as i need some advance time to line up a lens rental if i do get to shoot the show.

maybe i will see you on tuesday? :D

edit - ha, i just checked email and i got the no answer. oh well!

Some of these are more fantastic than other ones... Great set... Having returned to Colorado (your old skier country) must be really inspiring.

Wow, a great series love 3, 4 (the look in Patti's eyes says it all) and 8 (classic).

Thanks for taking the time to post these.

I like #2, 5 and 8.
Don't like the color (cast) on #4.
On #6, the drum kit is too distracting IMO (also because of the position of the mic). Pity. Nice moment otherwise

I love 2, 3, and 6. You make good use of the crowd -- something I need to do more!
