#8 is simply stellar. From a guitarist (mine!) perspective. thanks for sharing. Great pics--all of them.

dave

Classic Springsteen moment, for sure. Thank you for the compliment.

Some of these are more fantastic than other ones... Great set... Having returned to Colorado (your old skier country) must be really inspiring.

Colorado was wonderful. I didn't get to ski but it seems that this weekend would have been the one to do that. 75 last Friday, multiple feet of snow this Friday.

Great shots Tony

Thanks.

Sensational Tony - #s 3, 5, 6 and 8 are absolute killer shots.

Thank you, Richard. Sometimes the crop bodies do a good job, eh?

2 is definitely a favorite. That's one hell of a shot! Gotta love the boss!

I really like the way that shot turned out as well. Love Max's sticks.

Wow, a great series love 3, 4 (the look in Patti's eyes says it all) and 8 (classic).

Thanks for taking the time to post these.

Rob

4 was taken during the tour premier of Tougher Than The Rest which many people, myself included, was Springsteen's response to last weeks tabloid report on Bruce being named the "other man" in a divorce proceeding. His and Patti's eyes told a different story.

I like #2, 5 and 8.
Don't like the color (cast) on #4.
On #6, the drum kit is too distracting IMO (also because of the position of the mic). Pity. Nice moment otherwise

I agree on both counts. I've been playing with 4 and can't get it where I want it. Still I like the moment.

I reprocessed # 6 and I like this version a bit better. Some darkening of the drum kit seems to make it less busy.

I love 2, 3, and 6. You make good use of the crowd -- something I need to do more!

Most of the shots were taken at ISO 1250 and no flash was used on any of them. I shudder to think what sort of flash I would have needed from the soundboard. Might balance out the 200 L though. And my upper body would be pretty buff.

I just wanted to tell you as a Bruce fan and a photographer, GREAT JOB, and thanks for posting these. I was at the show and just happened to find this post, they capture the essence of a Springsteen concert and that night in particular so well. Thanks again.

Seen the boss and his band over here in the UK a couple of times... 'Born in the USA' tour and 'Tunnel of Love'. Brilliant set of shots you have...how many numbers are you guys allowed to shoot over there? Usually, it's the first three songs over here. Many thanks for posting.
