The exposure looks the same and exif confirms that, so I don't think it is set to auto-bracket. Is the drive mode set for single shot or continuous shooting? If it is set for single, maybe you are feathering the shutter button and actuating it twice sometimes.

I usually have it set to continuous, but I just checked and it is raw and jpeg.

It does not show the rider in the best way. It is good in terms of sharpness and all but I do not feel it if that makes sense.

I hope you don't mind. I took your pic and edited it how I would edit it if it were my picture.

white balance bracketing?? That uses the same frame with multiple WB corrections..

Edit: sorry, I guess you found out Raw+JPEG.

OK - here's the interesting thing:
Attached is the difference between the two images you posted.
They must have been derived from the same exposure as there is no subject movement. The outlines seen look to me like the difference between one that has been sharpened and one that has not. I think therefore that one, the sharper, is the jpeg to which a style, including in-camera sharpening has been applied. The other probably comes from the RAW, but has been transformed into a jpeg somehow (perhaps it's the preview jpeg, but I'd have thought the same sharpening would have been applied to that).
Note also that the "black" isn't quite black, so there is some difference in exposure or brightness processing between the two images. The odd patches of colour present also imply differences in, perhaps, white balance processing.

If this was raw+jpg, wouldn't the OP have had to covert the raw file to jpg to post on this forum?

It's quite offensive. I don't mean to go offtopic here but you know what I mean.
