We are planning on going to historic Harper's Ferry West Virginia (10 minutes from out house) tomorrow. We are taking out 18 month old little girl all dressed up and want to get some good shots, can you please give me some perfect settings for my camera for sunny weather? she will more than likely be moving in the pictures.

I would like some settings for sunny weather with her moving, and some settings for the sunny weather pictures of some scenery :)

I have an Xsi with the kit lens, and thats all :)

I have only had one other nice day to mess with it but I do not want to go all the way there and end up with crappy pictures, I am not skilled with Photoshop whatsoever so the settings that would give me the sharpest vivid color would be best, and I can figure out how to change it so let me know the mode and the settings and I will post up a ton of pics tomorrow evening :)

Thanks!

You can practice now in your own backyard with manual settings.
You didn't mention anything about lights, lenses, or any props. So I guess a pro will answer this best.

If I was u, I will google up "pictures in the shade" to see how others worked in the sun. You will see areas they avoided, camera settings, and positions.

Again, a pro will answer in a couple of minutes or hours!
