580EXII dummy battery placement

Need to know where the positive and negative dummy batteries should go inside the 580EXII. I made a battery pack and cable mod for a friend but want to make sure I dont blow up his flash. I have the older 580EX but it is a different arrangement. Picture would really help also if you got one of the battery compartment.
