Nice work everyone. Boat shot is the standout for me.

Spent most of yesterday in Milford-on-Sea and took a walk along the spit that leads to Hurst Castle. Didn't make it to the castle due to a bad footwear choice on the part of the lady I was with.

Experienced something similar at Farlington Marshes yesterday, should have worn my hiking boots as a bit more soggy than I expected in places.

Went out today and took some macro shots near southwick
Its the first time I have seen a Broad-bodied Chaser
Going to go back tomorrow and try to find a male (this ones a female )

Those are impressive, saw a couple of dragonflies about in some of the ponds on the marsh yesterday but no chance of a shot.

Nice dragon Cogs. I haven't seen any yet this year. I'm hoping to get some emerging from my pond.

Spent the day at the Hawk Conservancy outside Andover. Good weather and some great displays. Heres just one sample. Not up to the extremely high standard I see here every day and I'm ashamed to say I've no idea what it is because they had around a dozen different birds in the air.

Lovely photos Richard. Its on my doorstep yet i never go there. lol must get there with my camera.

I have been trying to get photos of next doors blue tits, they have babys and in and out feeding all day. Just cant get a high enough shutter speed tho to catch them inflight.
