I have been trying to get photos of next doors blue tits, they have babys and in and out feeding all day. Just cant get a high enough shutter speed tho to catch them inflight.

Yer, just cant get it higher tho. by the time i get home from work the sun has gone round the house so its shadey. cranked the ISO to 1250, had the lens on F5.6 and could only get a shutter speed of 1/400 sometimes 1/500. :cry: found the limit of the Lens :D

I hope to get some at the weekend when the sun is shining on there box.

Doc that's just 100 mmm lens on the 7d with flash mounted on hot shoe with a £1.65 diffuser on and hand held

Great shots everyone,Richard i spent the day at the hawk conservancy last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.

UK MARK,

That's a cracking shot of the Spinnaker Tower. As a sailing Instructor I've spent many nights tucked into the waterway on the right, opposite the ferry terminal. In fact where it seems the dinghy has just come from.

Couple of good shots there Mark.

A fine example of Falconus Plasticus seen on the top of the Tower at Ightham Mote from a a day out with the missus last week. It keeps the pigeons in check :D
