That sky looks unreal, I assume you were using a graduated grey to bring out the foreground

I stupidly didnt buy a graduated filter. so i was stuck with a staight ND8 which was used to expose the sky.

Great shot Ken, that will make a splendid shot to interpret as a painting too.

Some cracking shots of the locos Ken & very impressed with the 7D video - I wonder what that bloke had done @ around 7mins 32 -"That's five pounds out of your wages" (Sounded like that to me lol).

My 50 is still out for the count, and hopefully I may hear next week what the result is - meanwhile, walking around the creek today, I counted 5 more wasp spiders, with the original "big mother" still in situ - just shows they don't actually travel very far once they've established a web.

I guess they don't need to go far if your meal comes to you  I've just listened to that spot in the video and agree that's what was said, but I've no idea about what! I've just finished editing part two of the video if you want some more :)

Nice steam shot Ken. I thought about you when South Today did a piece on the Black 5 loco - I was looking out for you!

I think that Black Five shot was my favourite from the day. Heres another of her Double Heading with Wadebridge out of Ropley.

It's got to the time of year when the sun comes up just as I'm getting ready for work. Yesterday there was a great sunrise, so I stepped into the garden to capture it with the 10-22mm lens.

Snap Mark - I took this one at about 0605 with the knackered 30D.
Was too good a sky to miss that opportunity.
