i have a rebel xs with teh 18-55mm kit lens and i just got a 55-250mm. im not really sure what i should get next though so im looking for input


Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS || BG-E5 || EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS || EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS || EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro

try a prime. the EF 50mm f/1.8 is pretty cheap.

Either a good, fast prime (like the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 or Canon 85mm f/1.8 ), or an ultra wide angle lens (Canon 10-22, Tokina 11-16 f/2.8, Sigma 10-20).

my birthday just passed and i ended up getting 2 55-250mm lenses so im going to b&h tomorrow or sunday to exchange one of the 55-250 for another lens. its worth $255 but i can afford up to about $400 so i wanted to see what else i might look into

until you know what you want to shoot...you shouldn't get anything....once you feel limited by the gear you have not being able to produce what is in your head...then you'll know what you need...nobody here can really help you with that
