Is there anywhere that sells knockoff Canon lens hoods on the net. I won't buy from ebay but there has to be somewhere else.
The Canon shades are way overpriced.

None of the knockoffs I own have that material. I don't know how much it matters. The idea of the hood is to reduce glare, and if the knock-offs don't have this felt material lining the inside to prevent reflection, that would be a major problem for me. I haven't ever bought a knock-off hood from a HK supplier, so I don't know how they're made. I would email Deal Extreme and ask them about the felt. Jay

The hood for my 55-250IS (EW-60 hood) is 100% plastic, no felt or any non-reflective material on the inside. I have that hood in front of me, the ET-60, and it is textured on the inside. There's no felt, but the plastic is a bit rough and flat in color, as oppose to smooth and slightly reflective on the outside.

With all due respect, I only had to wait max two weeks to get several individual orders from them. Jay
