This time at the same pond, I had better light but I was about 50 feet farther away from him. Taken with Pro1 and 1.5 Teleconverter. Man I just got to get my hands on a 20D and a 400mm.:cry:

Great captures of one of my favorite birds. I especially like the pose in #2.

Did you use a blue filter with this?

Nice captures, but the pixels (Esp in the second one) are HUGE. It almost looks like a 200%+ crop of the original. Did you accidently save the file in low-res "for the web"?

These are really nicely timed.. I love the wings in the second shot :)

Be carefull though.. shooting wildlife is going to only make you spend more $$$

Thanks for the warning but you are too late. I've already planned to spend NEXT year's income tax refund on a 20D w/100-400L. Hey there's worse ways to spend your money.;)
