Hey guys, well I saw that one tree in my yard was starting to bud. So I grabbed the camera and took some pictures. This is indeed my FIRST ever attempt at macro/flower photography so that's why it sucks :p I just want your tips on how to become better at macro/flower photography. C&C welcome and greatly appreciated.. Thanks

A little underexposed. Were you using evaluative metering? Try spot metering. Or if you are using P, Av, or Tv, increase the exposure level by 1 or 2 stops.

Otherwise, I like it. Maybe not the best composition, etc.

Never say you suck. You show your best. As you get better so do your pictures. Hence you will always show your best. :D

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

Haha thank you :) There just isn't anything to shoot yet as of macro but there will be in Florida ;) I will promise everyone to come home with new macro work :D
