Need ID the bird

not sure about this bird name. Is it stern? tern? Anyhow, this type catching more fish than Osprey. They can swallow a fish within 30 seconds and looking for more right after it.

Terns are difficult to shoot, although this one may have been slowed by the fish. Good shots.

Wonderful shots! I was lucky enough to view a huge flock of terns doing their mating ritual a few weeks ago -- I didn't have the best lens, but here's the best two shots.

once the tern got the fish, you have only around 5 to 7 seconds to catch the action. If you can't track and focus on it, you're done. :) Took me awhile to master the tracking techquie on this bird. Now just point and shot. :)
