You want to turn inventory and not carry it and this is especially true nowadays more than ever. I am hoping they are sitting on a few months inventory, not looking at an empty warehouse and feeling smug. I want my denmad lenses. 5D, 10D, G10, the required 100 macro, 24-70, 70-200 f/2.8, 300 f2.8)

This is not good for business! Don't back order lenses and not keep them in stock because you're "Worried", just do special orders! Easy as that. Most people will think they want to spend $3000 on lenses they don't have, well to heck with you I'll buy them used and you'll lose even more sales. photos

As a dealer I have a bunch of stuff on order and a majority of it has been on order for almost a month. I have never had more than a few days turnaround. Cannot get any more information. Canon does their projections the first week of every month and they do not ship anything that week. Got an email from my rep saying they were behind a week with their projections, so I am hoping stuff will start shipping this week.
