Hello Everyone
My name is Danny. I just recently bought my first camera. It is a Canon Powershot SX10 IS. From all the reviews I have read on the camera it seems like it is a very nice piece of equipment. I am a beginner at photography so if you guys can help me out in any way it will be greatly appreciated. I hope to have fun and post some interesting unique pictures up for everyone to enjoy. Thank you in advance to everyone that helps me out.

Danny, start here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=414088
The SX10 may not be a DSLR but it has many of the same features and controls. And of course the principles of general photography are universal. Your first goal should be to get away from the automatic modes as quickly as possible and into the "Creative" so you can learn to control your camera rather than it controlling you.
