Every day????? I think POTN is as bad an addiction as photography.

I'm in here every 5 minutes hitting refresh to see what NickSan and other wise folks have to say.

You are not alone.
I got the virus a couple of months ago and still as sick as ever. Move from XTi to 40D in 2 months; added 3 additional lenses and thinking of adding telephoto. All day and night I think about photography. Take every available opportunity to play with my camera. Drag it with me everywhere I go. Look up, down, side way and behind me wherever I am at to search for lighting & angle. Taking picture of my Son everyday. My wife laughs at me and gets jealous with Forty D sometime. I visit POTN everyday. I can’t help it either. So who know the 800 number? :)

I admit it, I am also an addict.

Writers have writer's block.
Photographers have photographer's block.

In the worst times, my hands wanted to smash the camera when I saw that I missed a shot.

The first step is admitting that you have a problem.

...Then we can begin the 12 steps

I think the problem is that U are still using a 40D.. Perhaps if U upgraded to a Full frame, your problem might disappear...

This one (and others) made me bust out with laughter.
I know this all to well. I know for a certain fact, now, that if I could get a 5DMKII that it would ease my suffering and I wouldn't want to shoot near as much. I even sometimes wonder if buying a D700 would help ease the pain of holding my Canon so much.
But for real I am always scheming on how to move funds around and sell more blood, I mean stuff, so I can upgrade. ;)

It's the legal heroin of the artistic masses.

It's the religion without the delusion.

It's the love without the pain.

It's the passion without the hate.

It's the desire for something more... Without knowing what.

Face it.. It's a placebo cure to our non-existent cornea disease.

I hear your pain BigAlz :D

Because of photography the wife has stopped talking with me, she only questions me now, "Steve, have you seen the white table cloth" and "any idea where I left the silver cooking foil"
