Went to Long Beach to watch the ALMS races yesterday

took my G9 to play with, took a few pics. I was surprised anything panning wise came out, I had never tried with it.

WOW!!! I love them or maybe it is the cars~lol!!! No seriously, these are awesome. It looks like you have been shooting for awhile because there is no way mine could have turned out like these~I still have lots of learning to do but having fun learning~well, actually, I suck but that's another story. I am getting a g10 this week for my birthday because I'm tired of taking my 40d to the zoo, the park, etc. Could you tell how you took some of these, setting, manual, etc? Anyway, I love the first one!!!

thanks, I was using mostly manual, even the focus. Just so the camera had to think less. it doesn't think quite as quickly as my 50D.

I had it set up in wide format jpg with b&w just because I was playing, I didn't want want to convert later, jsut want black and white for some reason. haha.

I really wish I had a focus ring on the lens, but oh well.
