I look forward to the 40D version.

Just to clear things up for me... Can you confirm if I have met all the requirements (HW/SW) except NeatImage, which I don't have?

I have:
Core2Quad (Q6600)
XP Pro
CS4

So that when the 40D version is fully developed and released, all I would really need would be NeatImage to be used as the NR engine?

Thanks. Excellent work, btw.

You also need the main part of the deal.

NeatImage. (external link) and it needs to the the full version, not the demo or trial. other then that you should be set to buy the FlexNRv2.0

But other then that, yes you look good, with the quad core you will fly. I'm jealous, I'm so looking forward to my new build, just need a few more pennies to make the jump.

:) Seriously, I used to write batch files instead of using a back up program, and they always end in the following switches, in this order,

xcopy32 E:\stuff\*.* F:\backup /s/e/v

O-kay sorry, i've gone way O.T... :)

Cds, love the profile picture! :)

Oops, I have Vista x64 system. Will it work? Also, will it work for 1ds Mark 3 Noise as well... 1ds mk3 has worse noise than 1d mk 3...

Yes, it will work with Vista x64 and W7 x64, but because the action is designed to call on the profiles in the program files/neat image folder, and on x64 systems Neat Image is installed into the program files x86 folder, you need to add a step to install.

Program Files on your x64 system is normally only for 64 bit programs, but to make FlexNR run you will be duplicating your Neat Image Profiles folder in the Program Files folder on your x64 OS.

- In PROGRAM FILES directory, make a new directory called NEAT IMAGE.
- Now, in that new NEAT IMAGE directory, make a folder called PROFILES
- Next, copy your EOS 1D MarkIII folder from your FlexNR into this PROFILES folder. This contains all of Pix's custom profiles and presets needed for FlexNR to run.

Another, perhaps easier version, is after installing FlexNR as directed, just duplicate your Neat Image folder form Program Files x86 into the Program Files directory. :)

OIC, I am not a DOS guy so I wouldn't know. Not offended, S.E.V. stand for nothing but the first three initial of my first name Sevan. Thats all, nothing special. Short for sev.:D

I have a "lowly" Athlon64 2.4GHZ dual core with 2GB ram, and plan on upgrading to an i7 chipset soon with 6-12GB memory. I am going to do a before and after timing of FlexNR :)

That's what i Have, 4800x2 and 4gig of ram runs fast but I want faster, intel quad core is my next build. i have a copy of Vista but don't know if I should use it, I love XP pro but limited to 3 gb of ram. I want more RAM. The more the better.
