Cactus Bloom

Woke up to find a large number of these in the backyard ... Argentine Cactus blooms, they typically only last a day or so. These were quite large this year - about 8 inches in diameter.

Very nicely captured. Do you have any with the cactus shown more? I would love to see them with the cactus as a size reference.

Thanks all, for the comments. Here's a shot that shows an over view of the cactus for scale. You can also see a bloom that has already come and gone, as well as a couple more ready to go. They will open up in the morning for a max of 2-3 days, depending on how hot it is. Mostly got one day this year, and then they began to look very ragged.

WOw that flower is huge compared to the cactus. how long does it take for the cactus to mature enough for the flowers?
