Woke up to find a large number of these in the backyard ... Argentine Cactus blooms, they typically only last a day or so. These were quite large this year - about 8 inches in diameter.

Here's a shot that shows an over view of the cactus for scale. You can also see a bloom that has already come and gone, as well as a couple more ready to go. They will open up in the morning for a max of 2-3 days, depending on how hot it is. Mostly got one day this year, and then they began to look very ragged. Sharon
