We finally had a few days of decent weather to get out an do some imaging!
~70sec exposure 50D ISO 1600 / 10" LX200 GPS w/ f/6.3 focal reducer.
I upped the blacks & contrast in Lightroom.

Good one for the short exposer ! I have never tried to image this cause i have never really been able to find it . Once i thought i saw it but it had no shape and was transparent looking to me so i couldn't even focus on it had it of been the actual neb .

I reckon theres a bit more in that still. Aim for a very dark background rather than pure black (cant do much with the posted image as you have already clipped the black)

It's a tricky one, M1, but fascinating too...wonder what the people of 1054 AD thought when they saw it. I've managed to capture it as a smudge a few times. Now you know where it is though, grab 50 or 60 such images and stack them and show us what you get. :)
