I have said it before - I prefer covering the little ones so much more than the "big" kids. I always leave with a smile...oh and the parents spend more $$

I was having serious horizon problems on this day... C&C welcome!

The expressions on little one's faces are priceless. I think you did a marvelous job considering the circumstances. It looks like the sun was fading in and out behind clouds on a no doubt windy day in Dallas. Those are difficult conditions.
BTW, your website is fantastic. I love your portfolio of kid's action photos.

Thanks, yes the light was constantly changing...and it was small dark clouds so the change was drastic and often... oh well, you get what you get!

I appreciate the comment on the site, most my jobs are for kids...which is what I enjoy!

Cute Matt. By the way your horizons are off and you have a sensor speck in the first one. :lol:

Did you use just a single shoe mounted flash for the first few? Very cool sky.

Thanks Danny..

Flash was a 580 shoe mounted.... the sky was very dramatic but it was hard to get a well lit field when the clouds were covering the sun...and 4 y/o's dont wait so I had to deal with it...

Typically I take a White Lightning and Vagabond for the T&I but it was so windy I decided to make do with the 580

Nice job Matt. Apart from the horizons, only minor comment would be to crop #6 slightly to get rid of the distracting stray arm/leg. #2 has a great background with the dramatic clouds but the 17mm might be a bit wide as it seems to be doing strange things to the ball

You did good and agree on the bunnies on first shot. I would crop to level and balance the background. When taking chilfren photos. It is best to level the camera at the head height to avoid distortion. Here are some crop samples.
