PeaceGoats Member 40 posts Joined Mar 2008 More info | I am so sorry you lost Maxi. He was a beautiful kitty and looks well-loved. I also lost a beloved pet this past Saturday. I had to put my pet goat down (he was like my dog) and watching him die quite literally in my arms was such an incredibly hard and sad thing to do. But you are right, it was the right thing, even if it is harder for us, and now both Maxi and Shanti are in no pain and at peace.
