70-200 2.8 IS + Micro Adjustment....

I bought this lens about two weeks ago and sent it back to B&H because I thought it was too soft at F2.8. I got the new copy today. Here are some test shots.

Also, what's with the cool colors on the top of the sharp focus and the warm colors on the bottom of the focal point?

I also micro adjusted the lens on my 50D backword to plus 8. It seems hit or miss about half an inch all the way through the lens, but pretty good at 200mm.

Are these images sharp in your opinion?
