The Cedar Waxwings are on the move again. They've been busy stripping the berries off our pear trees and the neighbor's youpons. There must of been a flock of about 50 or so.

In the last photo I was suprised that part of the group came down and ate some berries off of the hawthorn no more than 8-10 feet from me while I was working with my macro lens. Thanks for looking. :)

This is just a portion of the flock.

Nice shots! Is it normal to see this many together?

Nice shots of beautiful birds... their feathers are like silk... well done series.
We have had flocks up here at various times that number in the hundreds.

Wow Brad these are great......I can't imagine seeing this many at one time, I was thrilled to spot 1 several months ago for about 2 mins before it took off.

Thanks a lot Sharon, We didn't have any that came to our yard last winter/spring so it was a treat. I'll tell them to go your direction. :D
